Be
Still and Listen By Ruben German, May 16, 2010
The Lone Star Cabin, is a perfect place, To surround yourself
with God's Grace. Sit down on the chair, and close your eyes, Now be still and listen, to the sounds of lives.
Listen
to the birds, as they sing their song, And wonder what they're singing all along. In the distance there's another sound, Either
from the air, or maybe the ground.
Now take a moment, and open your eyes, Two pretty little red birds, just flew
by. I look in the distance and see many trees, While the air surrounds me, a slight cool breeze.
I look on the
ground, oh what a thriller, Have I forgotten of the caterpillar? It's slinky body and fuzzy hair, And later it'll
fly up in the air.
A storm is setting, just over yonder, Lightning and thunder, I start to wonder, How powerful
can our mighty God be, Yet He still loves even me.
There are many reasons To come to this place, A little
bit of heaven, And a lot of God's grace.
So take a little time to; Look at the stars as they glisten And
remember my friends to Be still and listen.
